This Cookies Policy explains how StudyVaults uses cookies and similar browser storage. In short: we do not use cookies to track you or to advertise.
What we store
Rather than tracking cookies, StudyVaults uses your browser's localStorage to remember two things: your light/dark theme preference and your "mark as revised" progress. This information stays on your device.
Essential sign-in storage
If you sign in (when account features are enabled), our authentication provider, Supabase, stores a secure token in your browser so you stay logged in. This is essential for the account feature to work.
No tracking or advertising cookies
We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or third-party behavioural tracking.
Third-party requests
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and, when you use an account, connects to Supabase. These providers handle data according to their own policies.
Managing storage
You can view and clear cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser's settings. Clearing this data will reset your theme preference and any locally saved revision progress.
